Your privacy at Viva Aruba
Viva Aruba operates this service. Updated October 18, 2026. For account, privacy or support requests, email [email protected].
What the service stores
Your account email and authentication records, optional profile preferences, saved businesses, Pins, trips, itinerary entries, orders, status history and reviews are stored to provide the service. Business accounts also store business details, catalog images, prices and dated availability. Your password is handled by the authentication service, rather than displayed to business owners.
Private profiles and business orders
Your personal profile and plans are private to your account. At checkout you choose whether the business sees an order alias or your selected profile label. Its order view includes the selected items, agreed price, booking time, pickup code and order status. It does not include your sign-in email or account ID.
Public listings and reviews
Publishing a business catalog makes its listing details and images public. Review drafts stay private. Publishing a review makes its rating and comment public; it appears as Island Guest unless you choose a public display name and avatar. You can manage or withdraw your published review from its completed order. Labeled demo businesses are fictional examples and accept no bookings.
Email and service providers
Cloudflare hosts the website. Supabase provides authentication, database and image storage; the current backend region is in the United States. Resend delivers confirmation, recovery and order emails. Support messages sent to [email protected] are forwarded to the operator’s Gmail inbox. These providers process the information needed for their roles, and processing may take place outside Aruba.
Sessions and payments
The app uses browser storage for sign-in continuity. The stay-signed-in option lasts up to 12 hours in that tab; sign out on shared devices. Viva Aruba does not collect or process payments. Arrange payment directly with the business, and do not enter card details, banking credentials or payment passwords here. A customer payment report is separate from a business receipt confirmation.
Aggregate service measurement
On the live site we count discovery visits, interest in business signup and interest in account creation. A marker in this tab limits each count to once per day; it contains no visitor identifier. These counters contain only the day, event type and total. They are approximate and are not a record of individual journeys. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for these counters. Daily counters use a rolling 35-day window; older counters are removed when a new event is recorded. We also summarize account and order states already stored to operate the service, excluding our test accounts and test business. Payment confirmations describe a business’s recorded assertion, not independent verification of funds. Hosting and service providers may separately retain operational logs under their own policies.
Your choices and records
You can edit your profile and plans, choose order-label sharing and manage your reviews. Order histories and agreed prices are preserved so both sides can follow what happened. Contact support for access, correction or deletion requests; we may need to verify your account and explain which transaction records must be retained. Removing information from Viva Aruba does not remove copies already received by a business or an email recipient.
